why do i have wrinkles below my eyes?

I am in my mid twenties and I dont have any frown lines on my head whatsoever. most of my friends have at least 1 or 2 very visible frown lines. so i’m good on that front. but i do have lines under my eyes and the beginnings of slightly visible lines on top of my lips.

someone said to me drinking (which i do a fair bit of) causing lines. i said “okay but why dont i have any whatsoever on my forehead”. also i should point out i have never smoked in my life.

so are lines under the eyes down to laughing alot, not getting much sleep, drinking too much- what is it. i reckon its because i laugh alot. that probably explains it. what do you think.

    Too much rape.

You could just be drinking too much alcohol, and not enough water. Skin looks a lot more wrinkled when you’re dehydrated.
It is also possible that they’re laugh lines.

  3. It could be genetic, another thing that could contribute to your wrinkles would be makeup. If you stretch your eyes in any way to put on eyeliner, You’ll get wrinkles.
    Sun exposure.
    Free Radicals.
    Dehydration,
The “Elements” (Exposure to cold and wind) .
    Tanning.
    Yo-Yo Dieting.
    Poor Nutrition.
Leaving Makeup on before going to bed.
    Rubbing your eyes.
I’ve also heard that what position you sleep in can contribute, But I’m not sure.

These are just a few things. I’m fourteen and i’ve already noticed a wrinkle under my eye.
Just get a wrinkle cream and be more careful about any contact with your eyes.
They are the most delicate area of your body. :) Happy Wrinkle Fighting.

maybe lack of sleep, dehydration, stress, etc. Drinking causes your sleep to be of a lower quality (i.e., if you sleep for 8 hours after drinking, that is the equivalent of sleeping for 6 hours after not drinking).

These safe, natural treatments really work and can quickly and permanently get rid of them.

This is a response I received from wannabeblue28:
“Hi Mukunda M. I have just been rubbing my face with coconut oil using my fingers and hands and It has made a HUGE difference in my complexion after just one night. …… My skin looks so much tighter everywhere and i no longer have bags under my eyes! Thank you so much for your post, I have been suffering with acne and under-eye circles since i was young.”

She had seen an answer I gave about how vigorous face massaging with pure natural oils had permanently got rid of my acne and also removed my bags/circles. Massaging greatly tightens skin under and around the eye area and the bags go away.

Use front of fingers held together and palms.(both hands at same time)
    The most helpful ones are:
    (1) Do long up and down sweeps close to nose from chin area up to near eyes.
    (2) Do another up and back at an angle from chin point to cheek bone.
    (3) Do fast up and down massage close to eye from cheek bones at an angle of 45 degrees (on your crows feet).
And see my other vigorous massaging answers for others.
Do for several minutes daily – not necessarily in one session – and it will markedly tighten skin in eye area and diminish the circles in the first two or three days.
IMPORTANT: To avoid skin pulling first make facial skin taught by partially opening mouth and pulling lips firmly back against teeth.

Extra virgin olive oil and extra virgin coconut oil work well for many. They are non comedogenic so do not enlarge or clog pores or cause breakouts – they are only skin benefiting.

Additionally facial yoga exercises help a great deal. Find on YouTube. Do the “The lion face” and try to hold for 30 seconds. A variation of that is protruding the tongue as if trying to touch tip of nose with tip of tongue.

YOGA MEDITATION is a great help.and is easy to do. It enables you to completely relax and gives you deep, restful sleep. 6 hours of restful sleep is considerably more beneficial than 8 or more hours of non restful sleep.
